De Greys is a great free camp along the Great Northern Highway in WA. The camp stretches out along the riverside offering lots of little nooks and crannies for you caravan or tent to fit into. Council has done a great job with this place; bins placed every couple of metres near campsites, a shady rest stop area at the entrance, drop toilets, a dump point and free wifi for 1hour.
There were some big fish in the river, but none of them jumped onto the lines. We met some great people here and the boys had some kids to play with too. It was awfully hot here during the day, but cooled down enough to sleep at night. Our little visitor "cookie cow" (as we named her) enjoyed the shade of our awning and a little company; not to mention she loved our clix cookies. There were loads of cattle here, but not many flies - which is a huge relief!
