Heiffer Creek . . .
This is another one of my favourite spots we have visited... tranquil, close to nature, serene, peaceful and free! Two drop toilets sit up on top of the hill, very clean and serviced regularly. Bins are provided for your rubbish and there is loads of free space for big rigs. This beautiful little hide away place is located near Ma Ma Creek - not far from Gatton.
A fresh water creek only ankle deep, trickles its way further downstream to a water hole that's perfect for a dip and a plunge off the rock. Freshwater yabbies and lots of tiny little fish are abundant in the stream, perfect for little boys to build their beloved habitats and search for treasures and precious rocks.

We met a beautiful family here who were also travelling - and the boys instantly gelled with Xanthia their daughter. Lego was the favourite game.
If you get a chance to stop in at this beautiful spot, make sure you stay for a few days as it is well worth the stop.
