Point Quobba
Our way in to the camping area was definitely an interesting one... we checked out some spots and needed to do a U-turn, but unfortunately got extremely bogged!
It didn't look so bad when we were first bogged, but after several attempts to motor on through, we were stuck. With nowhere to winch ourselves off from, we grabbed a couple of locals to winch off and help pull us out.

The beach was beautiful with soft sand and a lagoon called the 'fish tank' for snorkelling on high tide. Our Christmas 2014 here was quiet but very relaxing... the boys made a Christmas tree from winding tinsel around a wooden pole. Our campsite was near the 'boat ramp' entrance to the beach so we had great access.
And of course the sunsets here at Point Quobba were amazing!
