* * * Kulin * * *Kulin is a cute little town with a lot to offer.
This little treasure is what you will find heading East from Perth - along highway #40. |
Kulin offers a 72hr FREE camping spot.... yep, that's right absolutely FREE!!!
An awesome little fenced playground sits adjacent to the Ammenities block, an eye's view from camp.

Originally operating as Butler's Garage (Kulin Museum) is a restored 1920's building that houses the town's museum.
Where Are We?
The Caravan Park
The town of Kulin also offers a powered site with water at the caravan park - just metres up the road from the RV spot.
Here you can plug into power, on a flat slab with your own bin and a key to the toilet/shower.
No catch here folks.... pay what you want for 5 nights stay. This incentive is trialling over a 1-2 yr period, and has already proven to be beneficial to the town.

The Waterslide ! ! !
This bad boy is a monster of a slide; walkable distance from the RV camp. For just $9/person, you can ride this twisting terror of fun from 1pm - 6pm on most days.
We found out that this particular slide used to be the one that lived in Tanawha Qld - back in our home town of the Sunshine Coast. Matt has actually slid on this slide in Tanawha when we used to live there.... and now he has conquered it again in Kulin WA. We were told that a local farmer had passed away, and left all of his money and estate to the children of Kulin. So what did the town of Kulin do? They bought a waterslide and set up a ripper of a town pool/waterpark! Read about it on the link below..... READ ABOUT THE WATERSLIDE RELOCATION HERE |
