The boys found great delight that we camped right in front of a rope swing. And they made good use of a little nook within some trees - made for a good little school room and cubby on every other occasion.
Matt and Cahil went fishing on the low tide while Noah and I scoured the sandy shores and rockpools for seashells and hermit crabs - Cahil caught a spotty cod and Matt caught a Barra! Handy old hermit crabs make good bait.
The drive in to the camp guides you through a gate that has a sign warning of crocs , a cow filled private property, rocky sections that require driving slowly and trees that need to be avoided. We have had an awesome time here at Yarrawonga reserve. We've had great neighbours that took Matt our for a fish in his tinny, beautiful scenery and loads of serene nature to soak in.
